For those of you like me who don’t have HBO, what’s the best way to watch this (for as little money as possible)?
Bribe your friend/family member for their HBO Max password. For me it required cooking three meals a year for my brother.

If you have HBO, just sign into MAX with your provider e.g. Direct, account username, password.

thats what im trying to find out - i saw that HBO was 19.99 then another 9.99 for Max??
I wouldn’t know anything about this 
I have heard ppl talk about buying a fire stick …going on YouTube, and learning to hack it in 15 minutes or less…then being able to watch anything ya want

HBO is adding a lot of A24 films. that’s a good studio that makes some pretty good horror movies. Hereditary is really well done.
edit: and then I read they’re not adding hereditary. Jerks.

If you have ATT as your cell carrier, see if you can still get HBO Max for free. Was available with some plans before. Not sure how the changeover to Discovery affects things.

Looks like Cricket has it as well. Will have to see if it works out.
I use YouTube tv and don’t subscribe yet to HBO. At the moment I can get a one month subscription to $9.99 with “minimal” ads or $14.99 without. I’ll subscribe on the day of the first episode of Hard Knocks and that should cover all 5 episodes before I quit HBO.

After investigating my cell options, I’m in the same boat. Just pay for the sub and then cancel after the series.
