If McDaniel gets a HC gig, he’ll likely get a significant raise. Half the leagues HCs make over $10 million per year… The fact that he was only making 4.5 means he WAS one of the lowest paid in the league. If reports are true about John Harbaugh’s demands… His coordinators will make almost as much as McDaniel did as a HC

I think out of the jobs he is interviewing for really only the Ravens have a lock at their QB position. The second HC job could potentially be his last. I think he will be very selective about where he goes next. Falcons have good pieces in place but how good is Penix? How long can he stay healthy? Titans are, and have been, a mess. The Browns…welll…yeah. The Ravens with their pieces on offense are for sure an intriguing option for him I’m sure.

I think the best HC fits for McDaniel would be: Ravens, Falcons, Titans or Giants. I think the Falcons would probably be the leading candidate to hire him as an HC, with the Titans second. I think the Ravens and Giants are targeting other guys, and I don’t think McDaniel would be interested in either the Browns or Cardinals job.

Think he has history with Matt Ryan as well.
For a guy with 4 years head coaching experience and 0 playoff wins I’m kinda surprised how many head coaching interviews he’s getting

Well, 1/4 of the league needs a new head coach. There are just a lot of openings.

Not really hating on him as OC but its the fit I’m worried about.
He’s an elite offensive coach, the kind people swing big for… Doesn’t surprise me at all, playoff record be damned.
