Exactly what I was thinking. I thought it was a good day for Terrion based on what the judge said this morning. Apparently not.
Iām not a fan of it either but at least they are consistent.
Hopefully TA goes to Vegas Raiders and becomes a lock down CB for them
Salary cap ramifications for Terrion Arnoldās release
Donāt usually point out beat writerās view of salary cap articles, but Jeremy hit the nail on the head with everything. Kudos to him.
Lock down certainly appears to be in his future unfortunately.
Or In this case a Turd Burglarā¦ā¦allegedly
Quite the opposite in fact, the timing shows the Lions intentions. They clearly no longer wanted him to play for the organization. If the judge put him away with no bond it would have had contractual ramifications. With that now removed - TA is free to be a part of the team. The Lions clearly didnāt want that, so bye bye
Canāt have a guy with multiple felony charges in play to come to training camp. And the Lions didnāt want to wait for him to be put on paid leave by the league in order to deal with them, no matter how they turn out. Cutting bait with cause. Hope for TA as a human that he sees the light and moves on, even if he has to do some time (probably).
My guess is something presented today did not match with what Terrion told the Lions. If he lied to Sheila, Dan and Brad then he should be toast.

This. 1,000%.

Yeah, I guess thatās my thought. I donāt think beating up thieves is a bad thing, but yeahā¦I guess you have to be consistent.
Lest you be Schwartz

I figured when he got charged officially he would get cut. This lets everyone know itās doesnāt matter weāre you are pic or your contract. There is a line that you donāt cross. Kudos to the Lions.

We really donāt know if the Lions would release a good player. TA was garbage. This might help cover what was a bad draft pick.
TA may finally become the Locked up corner the Lions needed.
Odd - I thought TAās lawyer did an outstanding job today. Fire! Main evidence was scum bag testimony.
I guess TA really sucks, the Lions said good riddens. An easy way out of a massive bust.
Im glad he never suspected me of stealing any of his shit.
Totally. Imagine what sn absolute circus training camp would be.
In all the hubbub Iām not sure I ever got clarity. Were the personal driver and the other victims responsible for the airbnb break in, or did TA and his entourage beat up the wrong guys on top of it all?
He very well may exonerated. Perhaps the witnesses donāt make it to trial. What if they change their stories again for the 2nd time? Anything is possible. But not surprised. Lions did the same thing to Cam Sutton and he was exonerated.
