Lions Roster Moves, prep for signing more UDFA's

Room for 9 total UDFA’s (including the 4 or 5 reported signings earlier).

We have had 12 reported signings. Some are actual signings, some might be invitations to tryout for a spot on the roster.

The ones that have agreed to a UDFA contract will sign their contract on Friday before Rookie Mini-Camp starts. Then there may be signings of the tryout players on Monday, along with potential other moves.

We still don’t have any good linebackers, but at least we have less bad ones.

I think Beckett was on the active roster for a game or two last season, so I’m a little surprised to see him go so early.

When you have monsters like Jarrad Davis and Alex Analzone in the middle, how could Beckett possibly compete with that level of skill and ability!?

It’s Jermaine Waller, I believe. Walker is a typo on the Lions site (I think).

Also, I have Najee Reams and Connor Sampson as potential signings (tryouts anyway).

8, but still. If/when we make room for UDFA’s, that’s still a prime group to trim dead weight from.
