Michigan rotated Dline so much last year I read Moore only played 40 snaps per game on avg

I could definitely see Wonnum handling early downs and Moore rotating in as a DPR in year one.

Your comment appeared just above an add for Koreadates and it had me very confused.

Me too. Its a meat and potatoes kind of draft so far and exactly what the Lions needed in my opinion.

Here is the best profile of Moore I could find. I see the issue as he doesn’t stack moves. That is something that can be corrected with good coaching:

Derrick Moore’s Scouting Report

RAS Score

Derrick Moore was a four-star and Top 100 national recruit in the 2022 class, and emerged as a premier pass-rushing presence in 2025, accruing 10 sacks, 10.5 tackles for loss, and a solid PFSN EDGE Impact score of 83.6. He then compounded that momentum with a standout Senior Bowl showing, where his elite explosiveness, raw power, and unique leverage-length combination proved lethal for opposing blockers. In Moore’s diagnostic profile, there is reason for both pause and optimism.

He boasts a truly superlative first-step and long-track explosion off the line, and at around 6’3", with almost 260 pounds of compact mass and over 34" arms, his physical framework lends well to leverage acquisition and raw power output. He’s also a hot-motor defender and a reliable convertor at the tackle point. That said, Moore’s pass-rush production might not be wholly translatable to the NFL at this moment.

He was overwhelmingly reliant on his physical tools and raw power in college, at times lacks a pass-rush plan past initial power, and is very inconsistent stacking counters. Moore needs more operational refinement as a rusher, and more discipline against misdirections in run defense, but he nonetheless has the physical gifts and temperament to make an instant impact in a rotation, and impact starter upside is present.

Wonder if they’re gonna have him in a 3 point stance… Most of his rushes seem to be from a 2 point.

If Anthony Hill or Kyle Louis slip to the mid 60s I would be just fine giving up 118 and a 2027 3rd for them.

Louis, perhaps, but for me at least no thanks on Hill. If he falls to 118 maybe.

Looks like Lions are done for the day.
Brad is already at the Podium. No more moves

I’m down for another edge

Crawford Joseph’s Barham Llewellyn

Pregnon still there too

This draft has followed Weasel’s Guide on Women.

If you don’t Wonnum, Borom and they will lose interest.

If you do, give em Moore and it’s Miller Time!

Didn’t even think hed go near that high… but I don’t follow shit anymore lol

Moore’s a better, more complete player than AQM. He plays the run good. And, can get to the QB. He’s a better pass rusher than Zion Young, etc.
