Quentin Johnston is a monster. Dude’s yards after catch is insane. tbh i won’t mind him or JSN… I just love JSN because he fits our offense and having two very good route runners and a surgical QB in Goff it fits our offense.

I get it.
For me, Saint is the real deal and Jamo is still an unknown.
I’d rather provide competition for Jamo. And love to think how things open up for Saint and Lif with Jamo and Johnston both going long.

If we do, then we’ll pick JSN. Totally trust the staff. I just think its more nuanced than just the ability to separate.

Have you watched Quentin Johnston try to run routes? It looks hard for him to create separation. JSN does it in his sleep.

He’s got pretty good stats with Max Duggan throwing him the ball, that’s a far cry from CJ Stroud.

But our QB does more than anyone. The reason he managed to throw zero ints the last 10 games was he protected the ball. He doesnt throw into traffic

Johnston is below average at the most important things… catching the ball with his hands and route running. And he isnt as big as advertised. Only 6’2.5" (he was supposed to be 6’4.5" with a 42 vert and 4.4 flat speed)

JSN is a freak at everything but long speed

Hopefully that’s the new Goff going forward. He hasn’t often been that careful with the ball throughout his career.
