Idk how much hes gonna go for ngl
30 Million dollars APY, but he also wants another extension plus hes shown to be injury prone lately
his value is very much up in the air
Bears. Maybe Minnesota
Why not throw in GB too? All of the main places we don’t want him to go, that’s where he’s going for sure.
Just looking at teams freeing up cap space. I could say cowboys as well. Do to the fact Jerry said he would spend this year. I mean Minnesota could trade JJ for Maxx.
IMO, he’s worth a 1st and maybe player and/or some day 3 picks. His age and his contract are not appealing for me with what you have to give up to acquire him.
You could tell me all it would take is our 17th pick, one of our 4ths, and Rakestraw and I wouldn’t want to do it. And I HATED the Rakestraw pick.
Let someone else overpay for this dude. I would however trade him to the highest bidder if I’m LV. Keeping him when you are multiple years away from competing is pointless.
Considering that Minny is getting rid of Greenard… i dont think so
I don’t think Minnesota can afford to do that. They are in the middle of a Salary dump just to get in a position to be compliant with the cap. There are even rumors of them trading Greenard because of their cap troubles.
If they traded JJ for Maxx they would have to pay Maxx and then go spend on a new QB.
Edit- I agree with you about Dallas though. I actually think that’s where he ends up.
Maybe but Minnesota is ran pretty dumb.
Its Minnesota dont hold anything back on them to do something like this
Agreed. Dallas is playing “hardball” on the two 1st round picks+ demand.
Dallas gives up pick 12 or 20 not both…plus some more throw ins similar to the McDuffie trade is my guess.
If I’m Detroit, give up this year’s first rounder and next year’s first rounder (which should be pick 32), ask for a third or a second back from the Raiders from either this year or next.
I’m not moving any draft capital from the 2027 draft if I’m Brad Holmes. That is a deep, strong class.
Yes, yes, and Ernie Sims was a can’t miss (who missed everything).

Do not touch 2027 picks. It’s the best draft this century. If you insist on two 1sts, make it 2026 and 2028. I don’t touch that either, but you stay away from 2027
Then ask for a third next year or a second next year. If second, you’re potentially swapping a late first for an early second round pick, so a handful of spots.
They would also understand that the trade is only a few spots…
In Brads defense, he has done pretty well with our first rounders. I would look at his whiff rate in that round rather than hit rate, since that’s probably more apt in the first. I don’t think he has had an Ernie Sims so far, although TA could end up that way if he doesn’t pan out soon.
Potentially. Unless they pull a NE or Chicago, or Washington last year, or on and on worst-to-first finishes. Like you said earlier, “and Ernie Sims was can’t miss.” You never know what the future holds.
I cant imagine Maxx beating decker every play and killing Goff. Please dont go to the bears
