No way we give up two firsts for Max, and I say that loving him as a player. Its just not smart. I’d give them this year’s first probably.
The Bears defense was as bad as the Lions last year and they don’t have any starting safety under contract, one starting corner, and no center.

Injuries to legit pro bowl level talents is the reason for this teams disappointments.
Aside from last years offensive line avoidance (I have no excuse) he literally has filled every hole headed into every season. Hate on our edge position if you want, AQM was pretty much a beast at he got him for peanuts. I don’t see issues with his free agent classes he’s brought in. Now he does make some draft decisions that I can’t stand. But no GM is perfect all the time.
If he avoids bringing in a legit starting IOLman…I will probably have one foot out the door on being a believer if this guys has just been lucky, or good. Because there is no excuse, other than ego and thinking your shit don’t stink, to not address the Center position and/or guard position.
