Michigan football projected to have four 1st-rounders among nine invitees to Combine

Good year for the Lions to trade up. Not a lot of holes on the roster and weak draft

Probably not but I can see it becoming a Bryan Breese type of thing with Graham. If you remember, Breese was projected in the top 10 early in the process. A ton of people projected him to the Lions at #6. Once the athletic scores came out he fell. I think he ended up getting drafted at #27.

I could be off base here for sure, but I think Graham’s athletic scores will be very telling.

I’d be good with the Lions trading up for any of the following

Abdul Carter

Mason Graham

James Pearce

Mike Green

Kenneth Grant

Unless they trade some bodies with picks they are not getting Carter he will be top 5 for sure IMO.

The rest of those cats should be available and some might even be on the board at 28.

I am curious how this years draft will drop. It feels a bit thin on offense. So heavy defense and linemen draft? We will see for sure. Sheduer Sanders was smart to wait to come out because last year he would have been at best a 2nd rounder and likely a 3rd. While this year he has an outside chance of being the first QB off the board and a likely 1st rounder.
