Parcells left the Pateiots to Pete Carroll for 3 years,
and Belichick went with Parcells to Jets.
There were a bunch of new faces when Belichick got back to New England as HC

The green team he coached was the Jets, he was the head coach for 1 year with the Jets after being their DC for several years. Itās funny because he basically flip flopped teams with Parcells and BB.

That whole saga was crazy.
In 1997ā¦ the Jets gave up 4 picksā¦ including a 1st rounder in 1999 to get Parcells from the Patriots. Belichickās contract as DC expiredā¦ and he joined Parcells with the Jets.
In 2000ā¦ Parcells resigned as HC of the Jets.
Belichick had a clause in his contract that would make him the successor as HC. The news conference was set to announce Belichick as the HCā¦ but he resigned insteadā¦. to coach the Patriots.
The Patriots would then send the Jets a 1st round pick in tje 200 draft as compensation.
2 franchises.
2 trades.
2 coaches whose careers were intertwined for 2 decades.

And then spygate!! haha with former Pats coach Eric Mangini of course now coaching the Jets.
THEY NEED TO FIND A WAY TO KEEP BEN JOHNSON AT ALL COSTS.
You do not let him get away from this franchise.
Give him a few million a year, make him co-HC, HC in waiting, give him a new Raptor every few months, whatever it takes.
Retaining Ben Johnson should have a thread of its own.

THANK YOU for the Hank Fraley love. Who are we without this guy who makes our OL elite. Theyāre not great at blocking just because they drafted 1st rounders. Fraley is a gotta keep coach.

Me thinks weāre getting quite a bit ahead of ourselves here. Teryl Austin was, at one time, the next great head coach. Letās see if we can get multiple genius seasons first.

Yeah Iām pretty sure he talked about the 3rd -1 play, he said play was there and wr had 3 yrds on the DB and Goff just missed him. He said you really expect your QB to make that play.
Martz probably doesnāt know anything close to some here or maybe heās missing the still shot pictures so many are clinging too.
