Neah, as far as you want to go. Maybe lets set a deadline so the thread isn’t confusing in the future. Lets say Sunday (3/29), if its past that just let us know you are using BPA only?
Heh, that’s what I usually do anyway!
The beauty of the actual draft once it rolls around is it veers wildly from the consensus. What you’ve got yourself there is a draft that looks more realistic against consensus, but is very unlikely to be realistic when the actual draft rolls around. It’s not factoring Scruggs or Orhorhorho or Drew Sample going in the 2nd, or Mahogany or Nakobe Dean or JOK or Woolen or Kittle falling. The draft is always a crazy-ass experience because it goes sooooo counter to the chalk.
So, long-winded way of saying, someone will be there for us at CB. And Brad will probably pass on them to take someone you hate.
I agree with most of what you are saying. Even my assumption that OT and DE will be our first 2 picks is hardly written in stone. What I think is more certain is that the first dozen of top CBs will be gone before our pick comes up in the 4th round.
I think CB can get as wild as any other position. Just look at last year. Trey Amos fell way further than anyone had him falling, so did Revel and Zah Frazier. Meanwhile Justin Walley (5th round consensus), Ransaw (5th round), Jaylin Smith (5th) and Upton Stout (6th) all jumped into day 2.
The year before Rakestraw, DeJean, McKinstry, Khyree Jackson, TJ Tampa, Cam Hart, Josh Newton, went much lower than the consensus board, while Max Melton, Renardo Green, Elijah Jones, Jarrian Jones, etc… went much higher.
I also think that long, pretty type has a better chance of falling (like Woolen, Cam Hart, etc…) because teams prefer a different kind of CB these days. So someone like Prycock, Will Lee, Neal… they’ll be there imo, or something equivalent.
You may be right but I just don’t see Prysock as a good option for us in the 4th round. In fact if he was there in the 5th round I still wouldn’t draft him. I would expect some team will draft him with a specific plan on how to use him. I just don’t see him as ever being an every down outside CB for us.
Should probably all do it from the same draft site
Good idea. What site do we want to use. I use Sticktothemodel but it really doesn’t matter to me.
Didn’t they go to a pay model?
You get three free per day but you have to login or login through google
Booo. Just use mock draft hero. I tried them both when it came out and liked it better anyway, and he hasn’t made you make an account or pay or anything. And according to his latest reddit post, he never will.
I like Stick to the Model. Its not hard to login with Google?…plus I usually don’t do more than three at a time.
I just refuse to log in anywhere unless I absolutely have to on principle. And there are so many free draft sims out there now.
As someone with a cyber-security degree:

The whole point of logging in with my Google Account is to not share my password, no? I guess I’m not seeing the danger.
Why do they need to know who you are at all?
Have you tried adjusting the filter for drafting for need? I think the default is 28 but if you increase that to like 38 teams will select more players they need instead of just random. For instance edge rushers, OTs and CBs get selected a little earlier as they normally do. It does make it more difficult to draft for the Lions.
I prefer a little more of the randomness since the actual draft is wild af compared to the consensus. In fact I still think it’s a little chalky, it’s just guessing which guys are gonna go early/late specifically is really tricky.
For some if you trade down to 28 and Freeling is still there they are thrilled. I feel too guilty to even take him. So I am not for the random. I just use it to try and get idea of who we will be looking at with each pick in the draft.
