But it’s also true that predicting them ahead of time is basically a guess. Plus I think we’re at least 70% more likely to trade up, but everyone in here always trades down. I get it, that’s what I’d prefer too, but if we’re sticking with what’s likeliest…
I tend to start them early so I can get to know some names maybe i don’t know about yet and do some more research on. the one i did out of 10 I knew 9 of 10 already but it gets me started in evaluations for next years draft early
I actually never thought of it that way. I go through the season with no roster of what guys are draft eligible. I have to wait and see the combine invites before I actually know for sure. I guess this would at least give me a starting point going into the season.
Moten: Like the rest of that Miami line, plays with his hair on fire. Just utterly destroys some reps, serious power and juice.
Traore: Might have been my top edge in THIS year’s class (probably would have slotted in below Bain), has everything you want traits-wise.
Mestemaker: I admit at that point it was just about value, and I probably should have just passed on him because 1) I don’t expect him to come out, and 2) if he does, it’s because he was so good he goes top 5. But when you see a top 5 guy sitting on the board in round 3 it’s hard not to pull the trigger.
Boo Carter: Colorado coaches already taking him up like he’s the second coming of Travis Hunter, if so this is too low.
Peter Clarke: Gronk 2.0. OK probably not but in that bucket of player. Maybe Kraft 2.0 is a better comp. No way you can look at that guy and think he’s 265 pounds. Excellent blocker too.
Cruce Brookins: What a name. One of the few legit deep free safeties I know about so far. Expect him to pop.
Mark Fletcher: An actual legit deep RB, not like all the options this year
Cade Uluave: I loved him at Cal, I suspect he’ll keep it up at BYU
Rojas: One of @CuriousHusker’s favorite guys, the injury kept him out of this class and maybe keeps him a bargain for this upcoming year.
