I’d be good with this pick, btw.

Me too. Not my first choice, but I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t be banned in the minutes after the pick is made.

I’d be over the moon. Have you seen his basketball highlights?

He has the face of a 220lb man. Just a naturally giant human being.

So we mostly ghosted Tate and were seemingly mostly ghosting him. Encouraging. He’s the one I want barring someone crazy dropping.

I believe Freeling will be our pick and it would make me very happy. Once they all gel our o-line could be as dominant as anything in the league.

I prefer this guy to Proctor.

I think he’s one of two OT’s we covet more than the others. If either is on the board by pick 12 I think we will make an effort to move up and get them.

If that fails we either stay put or trade back and take the BPA.

Who is the second? Fano?

Music to my eyes. Who is the other OT we covet?

I would have guessed Mauigoa, but with the back issue now who knows. I still think we’ll love Miller, but that won’t require a trade-up.

I think it’s Francis Mauigoa as long as he is medically cleared.

There’s a high chance Fano makes it to us at 17.

Might could.

I don’t expect a dystopian run on OTs before #17 like some have theorized, often with aggressive trades. So I think taking one of the several “flawed” OTs at #17 is the play for us. I don’t think Brad will trade down for an incremental gain because of our obvious long term need at OT, but I’d admire his brass balls if he did.

Freeling is too good to be available when we pick at 17, isnt he? Which means a trade up most likely would be necessary to get him

Here’s the theory.

There will be a run on OT’s in round one. With as many as 6 going.
There’s also an expected run on WR’s to happen at roughly the same time. Maybe slightly sooner.

The first OT off the board could go around pick 9.

With the Ravens, Bucks and Lions looking to grab OT’s teams will be looking to get in front of them. So if the Lions want the 2nd guy on their list they will likely be looking to trade up around pick 12ish.

It could also come off the board at 3, 5 or 6. I’m not buying any of the rumors right now about those teams as they try and jockey for position.

Sure that could happen and if it does expect the Lions to stay put or even trade down.

You always have to stay fluid

right. Sisi has us all over him. Just don’t see it unless the back is a mess.

IIRC oddsmakers have the over/under for Fano at 12.5.
