Thought the Lions might land him but he goes to Chicago. Likely takes Young off trade market. Hunter or Burns only DE left if Holmes wanted to make a splash at DE.
Wow I am shocked…the Bears are trying to salvage their season. Did not see this coming. But makes sense. With Minny likely screwed maybe the bears can make a run.
This is a weird trade for Chicago, unless they are planning to pay whatever it takes to keep him.
Why do we panic after a loss? I for one I’m going to Try to relax ( Arron rogers style) lol . I’m not calling for Holmes , and Glenn, and Jani to lose there job after every loss. That being said lions are Going 15-2 this season and winning the Super Bowl by 20. And if we don’t…… everyone must go.
What the heck
Wtf are the Bears doing!!! show
Honestly the bears imho are the most likely from our division to win a few games!
was thinking the same ==> so thankful they are in our division
The Bears have: Carolina and AZ at home and Minny on the road. Falcons at home and Packers on the road to close the year.
They can get to 6 or even 7 wins and that likely gets the regime one more year.
That’s perfect, then at least one of their 1st won’t be top 5
We need Bryce Young to ascend and Caroling to go 5-4 down the stretch
Why not go after him in FA and keep the draft pick. They have no leverage in contract negotiations with him now
This is why you date crazy and dont marry crazy. As soon as the ring is on the finger, the divorce clock starts and the shit gets weirder and deeper until you have to ripcord for your own sanity.
Bears GM trying to save his job by saying “I’ve been making moves and just need another year or two. We got pix, cap space and guys like this via trade.”
You would have thought they learned their lesson after the Claypool trade. This is a likely top 5-10 pick in the 2nd round as well.
Sweat is a good, not great pass rusher that they basically have committed a long term deal/franchise tag to by making this trade. You don’t give up this high a pick for that and not re-sign the player.
He will be their best d line player by a distance but it stinks of desperation
