I already have both Dmont and Swift. I won’t get a pick until round 6. I’m keeping Goff, ARSB, Nico Collins, Kyren William and either Dmont or Swift.

I’m not saying all of that isn’t true, yet despite all that, he’s thrived when on the field. Lions moved on bc he couldn’t stay healthy and Philly got a game changer in Barkley… Swift is a productive back when healthy.
Agree to disagree then. He’s too inconsistent. Even his production last year, he went for 305 yards in their 2nd and 3rd games, then didn’t have 100 yards in a game again. He only hit 90 once. And he had a grand total of 17 yards receiving over his last seven games. We remember the splashy weeks, but far more often he was utterly invisible. And this was in a much better environment for a RB than Chicago.
By NFL standards he’s also a pussy
That was definitely our biggest problem with him.
Monty’s pit bull is out there trying to kill yuppy neighbors’ dogs meanwhile Swift strolls his Pomeranian around the mall in a doggie stroller on his days off. Not that there is any thing wrong with that, @Weaselpuppy.
So you are no longer playing FF to win but are just building the Lions on paper?
I would not take another Lion if I had Goff and ARSB. That is kind of suicide. And now you double down with Hutch and Branch? You need some serious player balance/team balance.
I like to handcuff my 3rd WR with my QB. But try to never have my QB and #1 Wr from same team. Or maybe the Qb and TE. But you are loading up way too much on 1 team IMO.
QB/ RB1/WR1 should all be from different teams and hopefully different bye weeks if you can manage.
But I get it. You probably killed it last year and now this year you are over loaded. You likely got those guys on the cheap. Unless you are in a all Den league
You can’t say the P word anymore Curious… Meow
See, you have balance in your life.
And Montgomery didn’t have any 100 yard games after week 6 (3 total all season, just one more than Swift) and had a total of 29 receiving yards over his last 7 games. Bad games or stretches don’t determine if the player is good or not. Swift is a good back when healthy, agree to disagree indeed.
Monty had a rookie stud taking carries from him. Swift had Kenneth Gainwell and Boston Scott.
Yet they still had almost the same number of carries… You’re debating something completely different than how good a player is… And that’s a dumb argument anyway, Jalen Hurts is their #2 RB and had almost as many carries as Gibbs.
Fine, fine. We’re clearly not gonna agree. I just think after too many times getting his QB killed, missing holes, taking everything outside, showing very little toughness - either when he runs or playing when hurt - it’s not hard to agree with both staffs who moved on from him. Having talent in the open field does not make a good RB, at least not to me.
He’s put up good numbers because of the lines he’s run behind imo. I guess we’ll see this year.
That’s why they play the games… I don’t take Swift lightly, I think he’s a more talented back than Monty… But talent is just one part of the equation. We shall see this fall!
That’s the grandkid stroller. My dog stroller pic is buried too deep to find
See above. I did win.
We have 12 defensive players. We have an expanded bench.
Interesting on the defensive player thing. I have never played where you draft defensive players. I am guessing scoring system for sack and tackle and TFL and such. Which is interesting for sure.
Yeah if you loaded up last year you could have murdered the league as the Lions were still a bit of a dark horse going into last season. A nice story but the NFL is not nice.
