I’ve been especially cranky for about a week. Apparently my garage refrigerator is only cooling to about 60° F and I’ve been drinking lukewarm beer this entire time.
That’s why I have two.
Modern problems call for modern solutions

My washer and dryer died a few months apart
You’ve got to appreciate that they were ride or dry.
My garage fridge is a 1940s classic passed down to me from my grandfather. Running like a champ. Don’t build them like they used to.
In this economy?
Washer is like 40ish and dryer is like 20ish. Unfortunately it was time
I’m in my late 50’s and although my refrigerator was a bit younger, I thought of us as contemporaries.
The freezer next to the refrigerator is newer and still going strong. I’m wondering if I should blindfold it when I wheel out the refrigerator. I’m not sure how I’d go about that, but when I Googled “Blindfold my freezer,” it was all porn.
Classier if you just pretend that you’re British.
There’s no multiverse that exists where I’m going to the loo.
I have a garage fridge from the 90’s and it might be my favorite thing in the whole dam house! Sorry for your loss…..They certainly don’t make appliances like they used to! I know my day is coming soon ![]()

That is some serious GRIT.

I have mini fridge and its my favorite thing
From the bottom of my heart, thank you. I only hope that when your time comes there is someone to offer your such solace.
I didn’t know there was such a thing as refrigerators specially built for the garage until 2 months ago.

I don’t want to milk this tragedy, but I also had a full pack of Costco chicken wings that unfortunately will not be in my belly while I drink lukewarm beer. I think I now have a better understanding of how Charlton Heston felt at the end of Planet of the Apes.
I just put my beer in the snowbank. No need for a garage fridge.

Now that is really sad. A tragedy.
