NBA Offseason 2026

There has to be some way we can come up with $25M in salary to move for him, right?

If the first trade was Duren/Holland

We could trade some mix of Robinson/Lavert/Sasser/Lanier for Turner

You’d like to keep Duncan obviously.

So you’d need to get $11M in salary from somewhere.

Duncan might have to get moved unfortunately.

Agreed

Lavert/Sasser is about 19.9 which we could use to get a Center for around that or toss in Lanier for 2.1 mil and get 22 mil

Also have a 8.6 mil trade exception we could use for a bench piece

Fantastic trade honestly

He can shoot the lights out. 42% from 3 on 6 attempts per game. Good defender.

Solid bench 3.

Signed through 2028 I believe.

Career 3 point shooter

Average 11.1/2/1 last season, 41% 3point shooter

Big fan of this pickup. Younger version of Robinson essentially but better defensively, he’ll probably take the LaVert minutes I’d think but maybe a Duncan replacement?

He should be a better defender than Duncan too.

With or without Duncan on this team next year I love this pickup.

No it’s not, but it’s a much needed move.

Joe can start too, but probably shouldn’t.

I mean if he starts then that is the big move

Very solid move. Still need a big one to truly contend, but this is a player many have wanted and hoped to snipe from OKC. And chefs kiss on the price.

Net offseason grade tbd but we have moved up from a D- to maybe a C with this move.

Seems like a very small price to pay for a guy that can shoot like he does.

OKC had no leverage, they need to bring I-Hart back, but are facing 2nd Apron restrictions, if they get Dort off, they can keep I-Hart

OKC gettinig more draft capital when they already have a bunch is a thing, but this is kinda how things are in the NBA now, kinda have to lose those big bench pieces to stay under it.

People are saying alot of great things about this trade in the Pistons favor. Things like this…
