NBA Offseason 2026

Idk, I’m still huffing on some hopium that Langdon still has an actual move brewing that signifigantly improves the team…but then he went and signed Hurtur to a 3 year $27 mill / $9mill per year contract, hence inexplicably sucking up a good chunk of the cap…whelp, my hopium supply is dwindling fast :man_shrugging:

Here’s a thought. Are the Pistons waiting to see what, if any offer sheet Duren gets? Depending on that, they may know how much money they need to sign Duren and then how much is left. Seems like Duren may be the lynchpin to anything else.

Hope remains.

I 100% believe that’s happening…but whether it bears any frewits and the team dramatically improves, well…

Brown is gonna get a 2 year 142m extension that kicks in for 2029-30 and 30-41 seasons.

I want no part of that at age 32 and 33 for him

Holy shit Detroit got another pussy gm.

Thats all they could get for Brown? Am I missing something?

Well, they can’t get any better than 1st place in the East :man_shrugging:

Pistons are about to put those teeth on a curve one hard step and its going to crack a frown on a brutal off season. Chemistry is going to bea big issue and still didn’t get cade his barbie

Yet thats my point. You have a cruve and it seems like the Detroit gms keep either hitting or taken the wrong turn

I get you like flashy moves… But shaking up a super young roster who just finished 1st in the East and won 60 games is irresponsible IMO

Its not a shake up. Its like blizzard at dq where the ice cream does fall out. I dont see the roster be better. Oh well im always wrong

Do you go all in a lot when you play poker?

Regular season championships are the best

It’s not nothing… If cade was 28/29 years old and Duren 26/27, I can see making the big move… But these guys are ascending

Poker and sports is different. One thing is ive called the gms in Detroit bluff a ton. Im not trying to start stuff just my opinion

You’re always clamoring for big moves, all I’m saying… Big moves have big consequences, sometimes they work, but a lot of the time they don’t… How’d the Nets do after getting Garnett and Pierce? The Clippers with Paul George and Leonard? Neither faired better after those moves than the Pistons did this past year while the teams that shipped them off drafted well and won championships :man_shrugging:
