Oh ok.

Please tell me this means LeVert is getting traded.

PG: Cade, Jenkins, Okorie
SG: Duncan, Joe, LeVert, Sasser (allegedly getting traded to DAL)
SF: Ausar, Huerter, Green, Holland
PF: Collins
C: Duren, Reed, Tolu Smith, Onyenso

Does Isaac Bonga come over? Where the eff does he play?

You think Stew was the entire reason that the Pistons had a top defense? Losing him will hurt the defense some no doubt but A LOT worse is hyperbole.

With that said, the east is definitely quite a bit stronger on paper so it’ll be harder on the Pistons next season to stay on top. Ultimately it will depend on the development of Cade, Ausar and Duren, maybe Holland who I think still has a ton of room for growth so I wouldn’t count them out but, yeah, they’re still missing that #2 scorer/playmaker.

Im still on the trade Duren for Sabonis and picks

In terms of Murphy, the Pistons have the pieces to get it done. They have tradeable salaries in LaVert and Duncan, control of all their 1sts and a high upside young player in Holland. If he wants Murphy, he could get it done. The Celtics have the picks now but they have zero cap space, I guess they could include the newly signed Queta and Pritchard in a deal but who’s their Holland level young player? Trajan can get a deal done here if he’s willing.

Trade for KD

S&T Duren for Sabonis/Picks

Sabonis/Reed

Collins

Durant/Joe/Huerter

Ausar/Robinson/Green

Cade/Jenkins/Okogie

You pickup a 3rd center who also can play some PF and the team is good

Stew is a top rim protector. It will hurt this team and if they dont get that number 2. I think their a little worse then last year

Green is back what a fun off season

Hey @DetroitvsEverybody I was too, but since we signed Collins, that’s a no-go for me. It would be so un-Detroit like to have two ā€œNo-Dā€ guys in the middle (Sabonis and Collins). Reed just isn’t big enough to defend 5’s. Stewart is gone. With that D, it would be a throughway to the rim.

Didn’t see this. But even with someone like Drummond, I still think we’d be hurting underneath.

Thats looking better and better. We’d prolly have to give up second rounders to get him out of here.

Or make it a little more crazy

Pistons trade Duren

Kings trade Murray/Derozan/picks

Cavs trade Allen

Cavs get Derozan and a pick

Kings get Duren and create a Duren/Sabonis front court

Pistons get Murray/Allen/picks

Allen/Reed

Collins/Murray

Durant/Joe/Green

Ausar/Robinson/Huerter

Cade/Jenkins/Okogie

Ugonna down to G League

You get your defensive center

Solid backup to Collins in Murray

You get Robin for Cade in KD

Cavs get a lineup of Mobley/Derozan/Strus/Harden/Mitchell

Kings get a lineup of Duren/Sabonis/Hunter/Monk/Acuff

Green seemed a good fit to come back. Solid 2 way bench guy with some scoring ability. Likey

So give up as much for a soon to be 38 year old Durant making $40M when you can potentially trade for someone like Trey Murphy at the same price to acquire and salary is much less? Reeks of desperation by the Pistons.

The fact that some of you are still on the ā€œtrade Durenā€ train perplexes me… Even more so when you couple that with adding KD… It’s so short sighted

Allen would be cool for us.
But Mobley is not a 5. I don’t think the Cavs would ever do that.

Agree. you may have missed this part:

I just don’t think the Pels are playing ball. I’d love Murphy, even withthree firsts mixed in.

Probably not just throwing ideas. They have mentioned that allen could be available especially when talking about LeBron and that so maybe they view him as a center

yes, that Duren trade door has closed. (Hopefully we haven’t alienated him too much).

Durant would be kind of our last hope for a true 2 to Cade. But I’m at least kicking the tires. He really has not fallen off too much given his age, its pretty amazing how effective he still is.
