Also if true why do the pistons always get left out.

Because Langdon drives a hard bargain? Its not a bad thing.

All depends on who we’re trading. That would take Duren or Ausar maybe both. Not sure I do that…

It would absolutely not take that or anything close to it.

It would take less than Trey Murphy.

so who do you think the pistons offered? its not getting done with duncan, lavert, etc. the celts and rockets window is now, unlike the pelicans who can use the picks. that story looks flaky.

The Rockets need to revamp their whole team. KD needs to leave. Sengun has been underperforming. They have no future draft capital.

Picks and salary would get it done.

This guy has the same agent as Duren.

Ummmm, if I’m Joe Dumars I don’t even answer that.

Right. I know. I meant that It would work well for us!
Realistically, the salaries match, so you need more picks and cash. It would have to be three first rounders at least. Probably a pick swap too. We do have all of our firsts and excess seconds through 2033.

It’s so hard to believe anything you see on the internet these days but if this is true then I don’t blame Duren for being pissed.

I 100% don’t think he’s a max contract type of player (yet) but he is worth more than 25 million a year. Low-balling your players to this extent is a really good way to alienate them.

Hmmm. So based on where we are now, it would be Durant for Sasser, LaVert, Holland, two firsts, and two seconds? That is steep but I think I’d do it. Joe takes Holland’s role.

And BTW, Houston did ask for Ausar in the deal that was killed. We said no:

  • The Twin Connection : Houston initially asked for Ausar Thompson to pair him with his twin brother Amen Thompson, but Detroit refused to move him. [1]

Murphy would be much much better for the team going forward. We’d have to manage Duran’t load, as he was cooked by the playoffs last year and played in only one game. But i think I’d do it.

He said that was a mistake. He meant $35M.

Its about the picks not what players they get back. Boston i think can offer more then the pistons. But I think the pistons are done besides JD crap

I see. Thank you. That makes alot more sense and seems like a fair offer for both sides.
