One thing about the Brown trade. I think it will cost less to get Murphy now. Brown went for just picks and a guy who cant stay healthy .

Pistons trade 2028, 2029, 2032 1st round picks

LeVert, Jenkins, Holland thats 28 million

New Orleans trades Murphy around 30 million

What are they waiting for.

And still could sign JD

I have no interest in trading a first rounder after Cade extension is up. If we lose him, that pick will be needed.

Being afraid of what might happen down the road is a good way to never win anything of consequence.

Late 1st round draft picks are nothing. Good part of nba drafts most dont amount to nothing. Pistons cant be afraid to make moves. Lets just say if Pistons are a one and done team next fews year and getting cade his number 2 guy. I bet he wants out

Nawlins needs guards.
Robinson and LaVert plus an unprotected 2028 first would work for Murphy.

But what the Pelicans really want is draft capital.

The fact that Boston now needs a number two just like us, and the fact that they got picks in the Jalen Brown trade makes them the front runners for Murphy. It also would make sense out of the Jalen Brown trade.

The only way pistons can Make that move is to match the contracts. Im keeping Robinson and giving them a younger player they can build around in Holland

LaVert and Robinson. Contracts match. If we get Murphy, Robinson is expendable, esp with Collins Huerter and Joe. I’d def want to hold onto Holland and Jenkins.

But I think Boston now has the picks that the Pels want.

I think he ends up in Boston, but they dont have the cap space at all

Piston karma. Those top picks that go to other teams turn into franchise builders. You just have to hit when you get them. Like our flub with the Otis Thorpe trade. Wade or Bosh or Carmelo vs Darko. Sigh.

How do 76ers have more money then pistons

With all the shit Boston has received over the Brown trade it wouldn’t surprise me in the least if they did whatever it took to get Murphy.

Never said I did. Just seems like 76ers have a ton of money.

The one move that would satisfy us all I think.

Get ā€˜er done Langdon. Quit F-in around!

Zero reasons not to. Unless he likes what we have and thats the case ouch

Boston - Mitchell Robinson
LA milkwhites - Kessler
Chicago - Collins.
I guess the Nets could still make a play, he could fit their window which is 3+ years away, but what a God-forsaken team right now.

Give credit to Langdon. I hope we end up around 4/$140M so JD doesn’t get too butt-hurt. But right now, we’re only bidding against ourselves.

JD has to eat his porridge because he was a very very bad boy in the playoffs!

KD has talked about how he likes Cade many times on many different platforms. I’d love that move. Shouldn’t cost too much because Houston needs to get rid of him.
