- Chris Paul (2005-06): Led the New Orleans Hornets to the playoffs, starting all 6 games and averaging 16.1 points and 7.8 assists.
- Damian Lillard (2012-13): Listed at 6’1", he started all 82 games for the Portland Trail Blazers but unfortunately missed the playoffs his rookie year.
- Jalen Brunson (2018-19): Drafted by Dallas, the 6’1" guard played in his first career playoff series during his rookie season

Chris Paul went 4th in his draft.
Dame went 6th in his draft.
And Jalen Brunson is one of the biggest size outliers of all time, and was also a two time national champion and was clearly one of the best player in college basketball for a few years. He also didn’t get really good until he left Dallas for New York his 5th year.
What is your point? You asked for 6’1 rookies who played in the playoffs. I found a few recent ones for you. Did you want me to find 6’1 rookies who played in the playoffs their rookie year who were drafted 17th and traded to another team on a Tuesday?

That the odds of Ebuka Okorie having that kind of impact for us next year are very very unlikely.
He shouldn’t. He is a non-lottery pick on a 60 win team. Philon shouldn’t have had that kind of impact for us either.

Weight: Okorie 186, Philon 176
Standing reach: O 8’2", P 8’3.5"
Wingspan: O 6’7.75", P 6’6.5"
Vertical leap: O 37.5", P 35"
Not a whole lot of difference. Wingspan is usually more important than height, which gives the advantage to Okorie.
