I agree. Iām getting text after text from different alumni about different kids that we are talking to, and kids we are bringing in.
We are going to be rooting for a completely different team every year, and it friggin sucks.

Coaches need to stop contacting kids that arenāt even in portal, apparently Arizona st has reached out to carr and Holloman way before the season was over. That should be temporary . Uofm will get talent, and i dont think izzo plays this type of game at all.
Yea pretty much sums it up. Every year everyone is a free agent or goes pro. Itās wild. Can you imagine how stressful recruiting must be for coaches. That would be ā ā ā ā ā ā . And you feel forced to play certain players or you know they leave.
What makes coaching rewarding IMO is seeing players grow and develop as players and young men. Now itās play me asap or Iām out. Wild. The locker room culture must be interesting to say the least. Your teammates should be like brothersā¦instead itās like hey we barely know each other and Iām gone.
Having to sit out a year if you transfer was a good rule

It does make it tougher for sure, however, I do think they will get some type of revisions to the transfer rules in the near future.

Kid was a freshman so will see what happens.
Because his dad and him already talked about lack of minutes. May is going to turn into portal only. Not the way to do it. Im actually shocked someone older and much wiser agrees with this shit. He kicked Donaldson to the curve. We can talk about other schools as well. Illinois look at them. Rutgers paid a ton to not even make the tournament. Purdue cant win without a dominant big.
