I like Faulk, he may never be a 12 sack guy but he is a total ass kicker and the kind of player that fits what they seem to like to do.
Still, it will be informative to see how Faulkās pro day unfolds. At the moment, Iām thinking OT in the first and then hope some of the deep DL talent slides to #50. Yes, hope is large part of my draft plan.
As it is for us all!
For instance, I really hope weāre somehow able to get Freeling, Ponds, Hecht, Gabe Jacas and Kyle Louis. I have no idea how weād do that, but that wonāt stop me from wishcasting.
TEs are coming out now, find them here. How strange is it that like 25% have last names starting with K?

did nfl.com cut the budget or what. Their draft profiles/combine tracker is not updated very well. They donāt even have a full link to 2026 year.
From the news article on combines DBs/Sās
An All-American last season, safety Bishop Fitzgerald (USC) used his natural range and football smarts to come down with five interceptions in 2025. Describing his favorite takeaway, Fitzgerald explained he was able to intercept a pass against Missouri State because of his pregame preparation. USCās defense was running an inverted Cover 2 zone (meaning Fitzgerald came down from his alignment at safety and into the middle of the defense). Defensive coordinator DāAnton Lynn told Fitzgerald to keep an eye on a specific motion, which meant an over route was coming across the field. Fitzgerald saw the motion, picked off the pass and returned it for a touchdown in his first appearance at USC. Thatās the type of takeaway-ability the Lions have enjoyed with Kerby Joseph, who (along with Brian Branch) Fitzgerald said he admires.
Pay attention to what modern defenses are doing, and youāll notice players who blur the line between defensive back and linebacker. Thatās the āstarā position, as previously mentioned with Scott. Kyle Louis, a hybrid linebacker also in this draft class, played the star for Pitt. Safety Dillon Thieneman (Oregon), seen as a first- or second-rounder, said he feels comfortable wearing varied hats. āAt Oregon, we had a few different formations,ā Thieneman said. āWe had the normal two-high, and then what we called, like, an umbrella shell, where I would be kind of that middle linebacker, middle adjustor, as we called it. I feel comfortable playing in the box, and then Iāve had a ton of work rolling back to the post, so I feel very comfortable playing multiple spots.ā
With the Lions facing some uncertainty at safety, adding one who can do a little bit of everything could be useful.
also given the TA news⦠we were gonna go after CB anyway this draft, but yeah FA we are gonna need to bring in some guys too.
Feels Like Brad is always trying to fix the CB room, been the one thing over his tenure that he has been struggling with the most.
Crazy length, not that it matters TOO much at S. Heās one of those guys the old Seahawks brass would have drafted late and tried to turn into a cover 3 corner. Like they did with Tre Flowers and his 34 inch arms.
I called CB as a legit possibility in the first well before TA decided to keep it real.
Yeah Iāve said since day one that if McCoy fell to us at 17, there are very, very few guys Iād take over him. I donāt expect that to happen, and heāll have to pass the medicals, but you never know how the draft will play out.
And 3 are MK.
Crystal ball says Terrion Arnold and Ennis Rakestraw will not miss a game due to injury in 2026.

Size is really their only similarity. Pondsās tape is 20X better. And a FAR better athlete, as weāll see as the testing numbers come in (already a 43.5 inch vert).
Will Lee with a 42 inch vert and 11 inch broad
(@CuriousHusker )
Brandon Cisse at 41 inch vert and 10ā11 broad, but thatās not a surprise based on his tape. Leeās was more out of nowhere.
If he has to pass medicals, Bradford has already locked in on him.
Corner 40 times are coming in. Here are the most interesting ones so far imo:
Tacario Davis, 4.41 (at 6ā4, 194, with 33.5 inch arms)
Daylen Everette, 4.38
Colton Hood, 4.45
Davison Igbinosun, 4.46
Domani Jackson, 4.41 (many expected much faster)
Chris Johnson, 4.43
Will Lee, 4.52
Devin Moore, 4.55
Malik Muhammad, 4.42
Julian Neal, 4.54
Chandler Rivers, 4.42
Toriano Pride, 4.36
Zeke Masses, 4.46
