NFL Draft: Don't over think it — Marvin Harrison Jr. is best WR in this class

I don’t know if he is or not. Just posted it for discussion purposes.

PFF on his main competition:

2. WR MALIK NABERS, LSU

PFF BIG BOARD RANK: 4

Nabers’ movement skills are rare, even at the NFL level. His ability to change direction yet continue to accelerate makes him an open-target specialist in the slot and on the outside. He has the kind of athleticism that demands a defense to know where he is at all times as a future WR1.

This is a no-brainer to me. I really like Nabers and Odunze as well, but they aren’t MH3. This is classic prospect fatigue.

Marvin Harrison is the best prospect since
Larry/Calvin

I think he’s the best since Calvin, yeah. A slight tier above Chase.

I feel like Larry is underrated here → crazy good player

Based on how most drafts go. I could see Harrison, Nabers, Odunze going back to back
Like 7,8,9 or something like that

How does Nabers compare to Chase?

If Harrison is still sitting there at 7, Jim Harbaugh should be fired from his new job.

I wasnt even thinking who was where.
Just looking probably 4,5,6 with out trades.

Personally I would have Chase above him, but they’re probably in the same tier. And that’s an elite, elite group. Just not all-time prospects like Calvin, MH3, Julio, Fitz or Keyshawn.

not dissing ANY of the other WR’s, but if WE could land Marvin Harrison Jr for our offense, to pair with St Brown , Jamo and the others… including Laporta , our O takes a big step to ELITE-level.

With no evidence I believe that Harrison will end up with injury struggles. Ankle or foot

As crazy as this idea sounds, if anyone’s crazy enough to do something like this it’s the villain

that would cost at least this years 1 & 2 and next years 1. Not happening.

Not only is it not happening, it would be dumb. ARSB and Laporta are target monsters. When you have two players that get that many looks, along with Jamo and Gibby, there aren’t a lot a balls left to go around. Those wanting this to happen I feel like need to put down the controller. This isn’t a video game…

With the amount of resources it would take along with trying to make everyone happy, it’s not even close to worth it. It wouldn’t even make us much better at all…if at all. We arent a throw it 50 times a game team.

Agree, it’s why my focus is more on target numbers than this wr position or that one.

I wouldn’t be for it, but you act like Brad Holmes is predictable. When he and Dan Campbell are two of the most unpredictable people in football

Not dissing the idea, although it just won’t happen, but this offense is already elite. We are top 5 in the NFL. Harrison makes this offense the best in the NFL. If Gotf could manage another step forward, I’d argue they could be the best in recent memory (last 5-10 years).

Marvin Harrison Jr is a stud. I think he’s the best prospect to come out since Julio Jones

Chase might be a more physically demanding prospect with elite physical traits. Harrison however is a more polished and complete WR. Baring injury he could be a Randy Moss type of player.

I know he didn’t need to run at the combine or pro day……but there’s a part of me that has to wonder if he’s hiding something? That being said he should be the first pick in the draft. I’m not sold on any of the QBs and if there’s a lock in the draft seems like Harrison Jr is it.
