I counted 12 starters in 4 drafts… And at least 2 hall of famers… Maybe 3 or 4… prove me wrong?

Brad is pretty good at the whole draft thing

CRAZY impressive - Now the challenge is:
1 - Paying all those players.
2 - Respecting all the players (those we keep and let go so we maintain a solid locker room cullture)
3 - Getting value from the good players we can’t keep.
But as long as Brad keeps cooking like this we should continue to have one of the top rosters in the NFL.

Why don’t you work in a zoo and stop bothering people?

Assuming health is not an issue, Hutchinson, Sewell, St Brown, and Gibbs are tracking as potential HOF type players.

Laporta, Branch, and Campbell could work themselves into that conversation as well.

There is not a GM in the league I would trade Holmes for.

We all really want an edge, and while there are 2-3 flavors of edge players (Stewart, Green, Stewart)…. I’m not sure I see one guy I feel is a 900 plus snap- 8 plus sack guy who is stout against the run. Maybe Scourton, M Williams, and JTT? That’s why I think we see a veteran edge show up here soon, and then maybe a situational rusher?

DT- Harmon, Nolan, Grant, Alexander, A Collins

WR- Higgins, T Harris, Horton, Bryant, Ayomanor

S- Winston, Starks, Sanker, Reed, X Watts, Mukuba

LB- J Campbell, Paul Jr, Schlesinger, Knight, Barrett, Teddye

IOL- Zabel, Booker, D Jackson, Savaiinaea Ratledge, W Milum

I feel like some combo of those players will produce 3 really great starters.

J Campbell
A Collins
T Horton

Zabel
Alexander
Paul Jr

Harmon
T Harris
Sanker

I feel like all 3 of those groups produce 2 if not 3 really good starters.

Our GM exemplifies the motto “be content, br consistent but never complacent”!!

Brad is overall a BPA guy and it shows. But Brad is also practical at times. See LaPorta over Branch for example.

For the few roster holes/concerns we have Brad really doesn’t HAVE to draft ANY position now. That is a GREAT and under-appreciated place to be in 2025.

My best guess in IOL will be the value pick rd. 1. My gut tells me a trade back is coming for Brad.

I am a big fan on this second rd. I don’t think a true 1st rd. talent will be there for us and I also think a team with a greater need will reach with a trade offer.

I think Brad finds two 2nd. rd starters and I feel like we get something of value in rd. 3 now.

Brad’s done a fantastic job. The only caveat I’ll offer is to the “12 starters in 4 drafts” bit. He inherited a terrible team in need of need starters in virtually every position room. He was pretty much guaranteed to draft a lot of “starters.”

Easy for a lot of folks to say that Hutch and Penei were “no-brainers.” But the history of the league is full of “no-brainers” who were busts or were passed over by teams that came to regret it. Brad got it done.

But it’s the number and quality of his picks beyond those two that make him special. Beyond Hutch and Penei, he’s not just drafting starters. Gibbs, Laporta, Branch, Joseph, Saint, McNeill - those are Pro Bowl and All Pro type of guys. Hopefully Arnold joins them this year, maybe Campbell and/or Jamo join that group.

Point is: those 8-11 guys plus JG make a HECK of a core to keep stacking solid, less expensive pieces around. And whether inherited from the previous regime or acquired in FA, Brad has ALSO done an amazing job assembling those additional pieces. Monty, Reed, Patrick, Raymond, Robertson, Anzalone, Muhammad…

Amazing work.

He drafted two All Pros per draft for three consecutive years. Not too shabby!

Just a question to consider - There is no doubt that Brad is exceptional at his draft picks. But would all of these players have done as well under a different head coach and coaching staff? I really believe that DC is a big part of the equation when it comes to the success of these draft picks. Some would be great regardless but are they better because of Dan? We have a great duo in HC and GM!

Absolutely. Holmes and Campbell are clearly on the same page. That is often not the case in many organizations. Credit to Dorsey and Agnew as well. Definitely a group effort.
