Yeah and the Vikings haven’t seen this kind of pressure but once this season and that was vs KC.
Most Lions fans think our pass rush sucks because they do not get home and get the sack but this group has been one of the league’s most effective at pressuring opposing quarterbacks. The Lions 26.6% pressure rate is the fourth best in the league
Funny I would agree that this week was slow and long but also super fast.
Mostly I have been busy beaver so have not paid attention to the game coming up. So it kind of feels like weeks since the last game. But on the other hand it feels like it is here already and I have not spent enough time in angst and analyzing this game.
Also 2 of 3 fantasy teams out so I tend to use them to help focus on the games. With only 1 team it is easier to set lineup
This is a must win! If they don’t pull this out it will be a tough 2 weeks in Lions town! I would take a win tomorrow over a win in Dallas just because it will take the pressure off the guys.
I am not sure about this game though. They might press too much with the pressure on.
Need to be the most focus they have been all year.
You will know early with this team if it is going to be a good or bad day. Besides the Seattle game all there loses this year you knew they didn’t look right.
Good post.
Easiest way to beat a team that blitzes like the Vikes do is to throw a lot of screen passes.
Gibbs could have a monster day receiving the ball.
Yup - also… we have been texted…passed some and failed some…this is the next phase of growth. we’re gonna pass this test with flying colors. lions are going to bomb them.
Packer game, Bears games, Baltimore game…all prepped us for the next phase of our evolution.
…We’re ready!
Pretty dumb we have to wait until 1 pm.
Minny is aware of this as well.
This feels like another Jamo growth game.
I’ll gladly take that
Some get down on us for celebrating Jamo’s growth, and even question his growth.
What I see…Last game they were going to him earlier in the game as well as more often…but even more importantly…Trusting him in bigger situations. 3 and long, TD plays, deep balls, etc. Trust being developed in conjunction with getting in a groove. This will spell bigger and bigger trouble for the rest of the NFCNorth. Them Boyz are screwed…Cuz Dan Campbell & the gang are waiting on their front porch! JaMoss is becoming a progressively bigger part of that.
His growth, in conjunction with Gibby’s growth → they’ll amplify e/o’s game…big time! Trouble’s’a’comin’.
This thread explains the recent theft of my gummie stash…
Nick Mullens is probably going to wake up tomorrow being Nick Mullens…
Lol bad dream…
Lol bad dream…
That’s fine. We needed a scapegoat anyway. If they lose, we will all blame you and tell you that you’re not allowed to dream anymore.
I think that if we win and Dallas wins, nothing changes. If we win and Dallas loses, we move to #2, Dallas drops to 5 and Philly moves to 3. MN will drop to #9. Next week is an important game BUT we have to win today. We’re 5-2 on the road.
If you have Laporta in your fantasy league you better start him
Thank you Captain Obvious
Happy Christmas Eve, you filthy animals
I like the Skipper call, especially as you describe Ben setting it up with him eligible for a few games now.
Not me
I only have to wait u til 12:00.
