Both mentioned in Dan’s press conference today.
Another awful signing. When is holmes going to learn stop getting injured players
Yeah Isiahs was his neck out till December
FA RBS are gross.
Campbell said it was his back today.
I’m just glad there’s no such thing as super bowl windows, so at least that’s not too bad.
What happened to Miller? He played every snap.
Pacheco unfortunately just can’t stay healthy.
Ankle got rolled up on is the speculation here
Yeah read it wrong it was back
Holmes and pro scouting should be on the hot seat now. Pacheco had injury issues just like Davenport and they put all their faith in him being a backup for the whole season?
Meanwhile we didn’t want to pay Carlton Davis a couple years ago, we didn’t want to pay Amik anymore, we didn’t want to pay Montgomery yet now we have $30 mil in cap space. None of this makes sense and just seems like a very disjointed process.
We’re talking about a vet minimum contract. It did sound like they depended on a few snaps from Pacheco though. Whatever. Thursday will be the unveiling of Jacob Saylors and we’ll forget about everyone else. Says over-my-skis me.
Damn I had high hopes for Pacheco. I thought he would be a great RB2 especially seeing him talk and seeing all the hype about him and Gibbs and I thought this would finally be the season he is healthy.

I’d write him off for the year.
Miller hasnt missed one game in highschool or college, one game with the Lions and ….

Yup, same. Guy won’t be able to practice for 3 months. Then has to get back into game shape and conditioning, all while trusting a surgically repaired back. I said this before, I do think it’s possible Pacheco never plays a down as a Lion.
After tonight, week 2 officially begins and you can sign vets with no guaranteed contracts. I am curious if Hunt, or another vet RB is on a plane to Detroit early Tuesday morning.
We did already bring him in for a visit. So you could be right.
Yep. They got some homework time in, and it’s very possible they told him they would bring him in after week 1 was concluded, if he hadn’t found another home before then.
Anyone who was thinking this guy was going to have any impact for us was kidding themselves. Brads a great humanitarian giving money to the injured and downtrodden. Doesn’t help us much on the field though.
This… it was big why.
Pacheco sucks even when he’s on the field. This was a low risk low reward signing that never made sense, Brad did the minimum amount possible to address RB similar to how he handled the CB situation. I love the guy for most of his drafting but he’s mastered the art of nibbling around the corners and it’s left some real holes on this roster.
