Do you think the coverage in the US is only that crap they do after 8pm ET? I have been watching live events the entire time on Peacock and I would suggest if anyone is into the Olympics to get it. Major problem is most of the live action is on during the workday in the US.

Is there a better announcer than Rowdy Gaines for swimming? His enthusiasm is infectious. Knows his stuff to a T. Down to predicting the exact winning time in the 4x100 relay. Knows how to be entertaining. He’s the best.

Yea it’s boxing not lawn bowling. Hard to believe. I don’t care if a man wants to be a lady… that’s their business but punching ladies in the face is where you gotta draw a line in the sand here… geez.

I was actually asking in earnest. I’m a bit ignorant to the whole thing. I guess I’m just curious how they explain that it’s ok.
The Olympics are supposed to be about creating a level playing field, and that doesn’t seem level.
I guess I gotta grow some boobs and join the ladies football league… I got a few tackles left in me

They didn’t. The Algerian boxer is a biological female, who once tested positive for male chromosomes by a Russian organization that was later decertified. She may on the male-female spectrum chromosome-wise, but she has a vagina and can have babies. The story does fit a narrative however. I’m not in favor of trans women in women sports, but the story should wake people up to the fact that that gender is in fact not binary.
