In his response to the media on this last week we learned:
He makes addressing problems a priority. More to the point, he’d rather address them as they come up rather than procrastinate for schedule’s sake.
He’s a coach that still likes coaching. If he’s with a position group and they’re making hay in a meeting, he’s not going to stop their progress. Or, as in the previous point, if they’re into an issue that needs to be resolved, he’s not going to walk out of the meeting mid-point in order to make the next one on time.
It’s not like he’s a position coach. He’s a Head Coach with many people coming to him for direction and answers. Why? Because it’s new direction… that he’s setting.
