The question isn’t are we better with another star. The question is if our young guys can get to that level quickly followed by the question what do we give up to add talent.
Can Ivey be a BEAST, a strong #2 option? Is he a DOG that will play championship defense too? If yes keep him. If not trade him.
I think Jalen is worth keeping. Just a solid center as is Beef Stew.
The Pistons should be able to forecast these young players. JD knows the guys. If we believe in them roll with what we have (my preferred choice). If not, trade away!
