I think a lot of the problems with the DBs is the lack of pressure.
That and Jacobs has no business being OCB2
Yea sucks. But then again when you are counting on guys 30+ years old coming off back surgery to be a starter, it’s a real gamble. Even Rag’s toe is held together by some duct tape.
4 years with the Lions, Big V has been injured every season. 2021 he managed to stay mostly healthy and only missed 2 games. The other 3 years he’s missed huge parts of the season.
I think that’s underselling him. He was fantastic.
Really a case where the stats don’t tell the story of how well he was playing.
Also he should have had a 20+ yard TD reception. Complete BS call that was.
Last Sunday for sure but via his own Herculean effort most of the time. I can recall several runs in which he turned 1-2 yards into 5-7 yards.
Gibbs had some nice running lanes in KC as well. We are down 2 starting O-linemen now though so it could be a challenge up front.
