I went ahead and did this same exercise with current FAs and NFL PFF grades. Here are the current available FAs (according to OTC) that have a RDEF PFF grade that is higher than average (60). Of the Lions CBs last season who got more than 61 snaps, the lowest PFF run grade score was 63.7 (Vildor). Sutton was 67.2, Jacobs 70.8 and Branch 83.9. I went with 60 as a minimum just to include a few more players.
(There are a couple N/As that didn’t play last year, but I looked up either their previous season stats or college stats if they were young and didn’t play significant snaps yet.)

Anyone on the list you wouldn’t mind seeing on the Lions?
I’m intrigued by Rashad Fenton. He had a down year in 2022 and his RDEF scores were not great in 2020 and 2021, but his 2021 season is pretty damn good:
Everyone knows I want Gilmore. I liked Witherspoon coming out but I heard he was soft and gave up on plays and that’s why he’s been bouncing around so far.
I know Brad’s not in the habit of over-spending, but sometimes due to outside forces you just find yourself in a bit of a bind. If I’m Brad I want to be “need-free” heading into the draft so I can go do my thing.
You have money. Just bite the bullet. Call Gilmore up and pay him 8-10 mil to come here this year, play with his brother and have a chance at a ring.
He would be ok depends on how much also he seems like late signer waited till June to sign last season. Maybe he doesn’t like OTAs an just wants to go to camp. if that’s case he will not be a fit with Lions lol
