PREDICTION: DETROIT vs BALTIMORE

I thought preseason that BAL would be the AFC representative in the Super Bowl. Outside of RB (which they can mitigate due to Lamar) I think they’re good all over.

BUT something has been off early in the season. They’re well coached and are playing offense a whole new way but it just hasn’t yet totally come together.

They’re lights out on defense though.

Apparently it’s expected to be pretty windy though.

…as rare as lions in downtown Detroit?

wind favors the running team.
How healthy is OL?
Can Ben get Gibby in space?..or at least near the ozone layer?

we are the better team. We also have several key injuries. We play 'em healthy, we win 8/10. This time…Lions by 14…only due to health. Ravens are well coached, but we still get a turnover…annnnd…we still get a few big plays

Here both Martz and Pagano agree with Shep that using a spy against an athletic QB is something that rarely ever works.

Things are looking up. We might have the luck of the Irish this week. Click the link, you’re going to want to see the video.

If Justin Tucker misses the 66 yarder in 2021, we dont have the 2nd pick in the 2022 draft. Without that pick we wouldn’t have Hutch, so everyone remember to thank Mr Tucker.

the more you learn about them, the more you love our guys…as HUMANS…not just athletes. They are part of our brotherhood as much as we are theirs.

You got to love the not so subtle “away from the facility…” digs at the NFL.

24-16 Lions.

Baltimore has a chance to score a TD at the end, but the clock runs down to 0 and the refs actually call the game.

It’s exquisite

Right @Baltimore, @Dallas and @LAC are the toughest tests on paper.
But I think Dan gets us up for the tough tems. Also the players do that themselves. You heard ARSB on his broadcast “complaining” about the underdog status this week against the Ravens.
It wouldn’t surprise me if we come up big against the Ravens and the Cowboys, even though I picked us to lose @Balt.
A sneaky part of our schedule is @Chi, Den, and @Min. It seems that when teams are good (like we finally are) underlings in the same division can be real problems. Sandwich Minny and Chi around the potential distraction of playing Sean Payton for MCDC, and I don’t like this stretch at all.

Not once but twice he said it. Lol well played St.Brown.

Baltimore’s statistically better defense is more about who they played IMO. Detroit’s offense is one of the best in league DESPITE the teams we’ve played.

In YPG, Detroit has played the #4, #6, #14, #16, #17, #19 defenses

In YPG, Baltimore has played the #9, #10, #19, #26, #30, #32 offenses

Baltimore hasn’t faced a Goffense like ours yet this season. 24-13 Lions

Ya got that right!

It’s quite simple to me, tough road game, take care of the ball and escape with a W

I must say, as a long time Rams fan who slid over here after the Rams betrayed JG, some of my favorite members here takes on JG are beyond amusing, from the beginning to what’s now real time

C’est La vie, no need to elaborate, Lions are exactly who I’ve thought they were all along, what a ride this year is about to become
