Pro Days Tidbits

Pro days are ramping up after a trickle, with Georgia and more tomorrow. I’m still interested in Calamari Lassiter’s numbers, even though Brad’s attention will be on positions other than CB at #29–according to my current misunderstanding of Brad and his plans.

Anyway, tell me what’s what and what interests you.

Do you know if Calamari is a tube or a tenticle? Important detail for me.

This seems like as good a place as any to drop this:

I think I know what you’re asking, but if it’s that important, I probably should check the Urban dictionary before answering… :sunglasses: :sunglasses: :sunglasses:

I didn’t mean it in potty mouthed innuendo sort of way. I just wondered if Calamari had sufficient Appetizer Character for Brad and Dan.

Speaking of the cornerback class, are there any Scallops. Brad and Dan would appreciate the grit.

Jeff Risdon is sure the Lions will find no Potty Plume anywhere near Mr Lassiter.

No matter. Do you draft Calamari to sit behind Sutton?

You can never have too many corners. I just don’t know that he’ll be the highest guy on our board.

He’s a “handsy” type of DB.

Maybe, we will just have to call him by his middle name:

Kamari Quincey Lassiter or just plain “Q”

Cooper DeJean will be working out for teams before the draft but will miss IOWA’s pro day.

Both would have been 3rd at the combine:

Casey rodgers weighed in at 296, he ran a 4.82 with a 35 inch Vertical and a 9’8 broad jump. Maybe an Undrafted FA to look at or late rounder drafted for Physical traits.

Makes me rethink my wait-til-late-rounds strategy…

Him and Thomas are really the only very early WRs I’d be OK with (Franklin and Legette in the 2nd would be good too). Otherwise I tend to wait as well.

Hand-timed so obviously not official, but if anywhere near correct, not at the end you wanted to see him at:

4.6 on a stop watch is a problem. A fairly significant problem. The scouts will confer which should confirm the time. But by traditional thinking that’s a 4.72-4.75ish time.

If that’s true he’s a quarters/cover 2 guy all the way and in this class that would seem to portend a substantial slide.

Speed was always the major concern with him too, so it’s not shocking. If true he’s probably gonna plummet.
