Yeah and thatās not great value for pick 20. Thereās a reason why centers very rarely go top 20⦠itās because itās not a premium position. Brad never tries to find value so the Lions probably will reach for a center
You would have to pay about $8 million more a year for a top center in FA than you would pay the 20th OA pick. The value just isnāt there. Better off to pony up the extra $$ and get a proven player in free agency. With first round picks you should always try drafting premium positions because they cost so much more in free agency.
I said he may or may not play next year. Thatās been the response Iāve seen from the people here. From that you interpret fans are saying heās definitely playing next year?
Ragnow missed the game and wanted to return, but his injury is preventing him. I donāt think what made him want to come back just vanished, but heās also rehabbing an injury. Weāll see. Either way the Lions will have to plan as if heās not.
You say itās about the trade and not that heās a failure, then you go right back to the player lol Is it the player or the trade Nate?
I donāt have an opinion on the trade until I see what becomes of the player. I may very well agree with you, but Iām not going to say that year one. Iām definitely not going to go after the player.
Reading comprehension: we couldāve gotten much, much more value out of multiple third round picks this year than we did out of Isaac TesLaa. Spin away, buddy.
Jerry Jones used his 3rd round pick to acquire the 2nd best receiver in football this year. The Lions obviously couldve gotten much more value out of 3x3rd round picks.
Thankfully, I wasnāt paying attention here at the time but Iām sure Mikemcmahon aka Iggy aka Angry Driver ripped on the Gibbs and Campbell picks because they werenāt āvalue positionsā at their draft spotsā¦..heās always right until heās wrong, which he usually isā¦
You are a 100% right Nate! We have the invisible man playing DE opposite Hutch. Brad has failed to ā water the garden ā on the O-line. Iām sick of people saying, he has addressed the O-line. Tossing mid to late rd picks on injured players and projects from small schools or North of the border isnāt addressing the O-line.
