Brother- you’ve created something awesome, no doubt.
I’m just saying… I was distraught about the Packers game. Missed half my turkey day dinner while yelling at my screen in the man cave. I didn’t realize my parents and 85 year old grandpa had left already as I lamented the game. No hug goodbye. My grandpa is fine btw-
My employee- good friend I called to congratulate on the Bears win on Friday… he sounded down when he answered, so I chastised what he had to bitch about, his team crushed Philly, and mine ball-gagged…. Then choked up he uttered his grandma has passed a few hours ago…. His Bears win didn’t much matter that day….
It’s entertainment. Friendship. Family
If the only thing that matters is results… it’s kind of like playing blackjack for your mortgage payment, except.. instead of 42%… it’s more like 10% if your are a good team, and 3% if you are a bad team.
The current roster and regime cannot function as they are tied to 50 years of futility…. The other 32 teams don’t care about our feelings
Brad has been brilliant, and then bad… he’s got it in him. Most don’t.

Hey now he did trade away a QB that wanted to be traded away. Made hay with those extra 1st round picks.
but pass rush being an issue 2 years in a row and an oline that wasn’t great even when healthy because of playing people out of position is all on brad.
watch next years draft the first round he’ll pick a skill position player.
sorry, a skill position player coming off an ACL.
I would say that it’s probably about the same as last year. There is a lot of good reasons for Ragnow to go back on reserve/retired list.
If he remains on the roster, he has to either be in Detroit or travel to Detroit to have the Lions monitor his hamstring.
If he remains on the roster, he might be subject to being paid $500K/wk
If he remains on the roster, he’s subject to 2026 off season reporting requirements.
If he retires again, he can rehab his hamstring in Minnesota. Enjoy the wildlife that Minnesota has to offer and if he were to choose, come back at training camp or later in the season if he so chooses. Whereas if he remains on the roster, he HAS to be in Detroit at the start of training camp, plus other offseason reporting requirements.
Is Ragnow done, probably more likely than not, but he could very easily change his mind next year as well (it would not surprise me). Honestly, if he were healthy, I would have been surprised if he didn’t retire after the season again.

Frank had lost a ton of weight. I saw pictures of him and it was very noticeable. If we see pictures of him this offseason and he hasn’t lost weight it’s probably a good indication he will come back.
So if you run into Frank this offseason, hand him a ribeye and a cheesecake.

Let the guy stayed retired. That way we can’t use the excuse of ‘we didn’t know even tho he talked about it for 2 years’.
If it really was a grade 3 hamstring. It’s like a 3 to 6 month recovery. Sometimes needs surgery. Plus his chronic toe injury history.
Best to move on. Expect he is done. Beef up the oline big time this offseason.
If I had to spend a winter in Minnesota I could put on 50 LBS without even trying.
