I haven’t been paying as much attention as I should.
Realistically, who should be available for trade that would make a big difference in the win column?
I mean, I’m all in for Robert Thomas is he’s available and would pay the premium for him. MacKenzie Weegar would be a sick option on defense, but all depends on price as he’s already 32 I think.
I’ve also hear Logan Stanley’s name out there, Pettersen, etc. But my preference if the Wings want guys with term is Thomas and Weegar.

I’d be willing to pay out the booty hole for a PPG center who is 26 and under contract for about 8m until 2031.

I think he’d be an option if he had term. I think Dallas will want way too much for him for Stevie to make a move on him without an extension already in place and it’s gonna be a COSTLY extension.

Lack of term kept us from pulling the trigger on Quinn Hughes, which I was unhappy with.
I’d have to imagine you’d be right about Robertson.

I think Stevie knows he might have a shot when Quinn hits FA anyways. I wouldn’t be happy moving Edvinsson +++ for Hughes.

10-32 last 3 seasons in march. Last 2 seasons were in a wildcard spot going into march.

Its been that bad?
Noticed that the Wings play 7 of the next 9 on the road. Get through this segment and still be in a playoff position then the team will be in good shape. Wings don’t have many back to back games left so Gibson will be handling most of the games.
A win against Ottawa on the road tonight would be huge as it’s a division opponent
