The Lions cleared a bunch of cap space…

To green bay or Chicago
I suppose it’s possible that money they earmarked for an Arnold extension is now available…
I’m gonna reckon after we see Rake floppin around out there today, this will be even more appealing

Well, if Porter has a back injury, no way does Brad not pull the trigger.
I hope so, he’s not worth even close that
I mean hes a upgrade
I wish I knew more about JP’s game, is he a true fit for Dan/Shep? Is he a go after it tackler? Is he a stud in M to M coverage? What’s his game speed, can he make up ground if need be?
If the answer to the above questions are a definitive yes, then yes, let’s make him our number 1 pick in the upcoming draft.
Most importantly, why are the Steelers willing to part with a stud corner?
His reputation is he’s a very, very good 1 on 1 coverage guy. He’s about as eager to tackle in run support as Deion Sanders. He’s highly skilled, but doesn’t sound like the type of DB we look for.

I’m seeing something
It’s a hard pass from Brad and Dan
I’d give the Steelers 2-3 picks for him.
All 2nd round picks.
Lions are jinxed in the 2nd round anyway… even when guys play well… they end up with major injuries. ![]()
The Lions can afford a finesse DB, if he can add to the mix. He’s not a prototypical Lions CB, but they could use one who has a good chance of shutting down a top WR any given Sunday. They don’t have that at the moment, unless Reed is in top form. An experienced complement would be a solid add.
Maybe lions need something different.
We never should have let Mike Jackson get away. He was fantastic for Carolina last year.
After warching that #$^* 4th quarter and OT, we really need to go after him. What will it cost?
He just beat it.
but..but…maybe he’s super good at just kind of massaging the RB out of bounds.
