I don’t know the answer…but if he’s 75% the player he was, which I think is very likely, I’m keeping him around. He represents everything this team wants.
Give me LaPorta, Branch, 2nd & 4th rounders vs Porter (a non tackler/non turnover player) and the dominos that come with it.
I would however give up a 2nd and a 4th for 2-3 years of Porter with no extension. But that’s not how these things work. But there’s no scenario where I want to see a trade and big money extension headed his way.

The Steelers have been standoffish with holdouts/hold-ins. Are they pivoting culturally without Tomlin? This wouldn’t be their usual M.O.
I think Branch at 75% is not worth keeping.

The salary cap isn’t real, just restructure and kick the can down the road when the cap keeps going up anyway. Dont have to say goodbye to anyone. And with injury history laporta and branch may just be on the more affordable side.
That’s if this is for a 2 and a 4 though. Twitter is less reliable than A to Z sports
