There has been too much smoke about trading down the last few days.
And the rumors the week of the draft are always the opposite of what happens.
Looking at the list of players they brought in for visits, and cross reference that with where the head scouts went for pro days.
They are trading up. Likely for a CB
Any truth to Kool-Aid being a poor practice player?
I’ve been telling you guys for months that we’re trading up. Once you learn how Brad Holmes talks, you can kind of reverse engineer what he’s saying, or more likely, insinuating.
If a team is willing to trade back out of 12 13 14 or 15, and one of our guys is there, we’re trading up.
If we get Latu, I might have to get a Brad Fathead.
We’re probably moving up for Brock Bowers.
Trade down? Trade up? Trade sideways?
0% chance
I kind of feel like the least likely thing we do is to stay at 29.
The Lions will trade up for Arnold or Mckinstry. Then they’ll trade for Trey Hendrickson
Terrian Arnold & Trey Hendrickson
sign me up
You and me both…this would be excellent.
As we point out, improve DLine it is like 1.5 players for defense since it helps secondary also.
Brocktung Baby!
I like the idea of drafting Latu, and then trading for Latimore a little better.
Mostly because of the learning curve for a rookie CB.
Just what are we giving up to get up that high?
There is still .0075% of me that hope JJ falls and we somehow land him.
Barely holding on hope for dear life at this point though…
I think they are going up for verse
Now you start looking at 19,20,21,22
a more modest range trade up here.
Verse , maybe Cooper Dejean.
That would still be a grand move
And ya never know about Jerzahnny Newton… “Detroit f*cks with me and I f^cks with them”
With these contracts coming up…McNeil might not have a spot to eat at the table unfortunately.
This does seem like a more reasonable jump. And depending on who drops the Lions can possibly minimize the draft capital spent to move up.
