Figured we might as well have a thread for each of the games that get leaked …
I actually believe this more than the Vikings at Ford Field on prime time. FOX would probably want this after already losing out on the Eagles (&Cowboys).
Was hoping it would be Chicago
Got to love playing in GB in Sept.
FYI - Detroit Lions Full Offseason Schedule Updated - #19 by Air2theThrown
I posted this in the thread earlier this morning.
I definitely think it will be the Game of the week. (If fox has one)
WAS, DAL, PHI all play earlier.
Only SEA@SF is listed so far.
It seems like the league always gives FOX that 4:25pm game of week in the opening week end
They both get 11.
Alternating each week and both week 18.
1 additional. Usually a Saturday and Week 1.
However last year week 1 only had Fox with both having a GOTW later in the season
Lambeau in warm weather? Sorry, I meant ford field west.
I’m all for it
Excellent. Gonna pound them, and now it means 12 of 17 games in dome or good weather.
Of the other 5, KC BLT, CHI, PHI, WSH (holy ■■■■ that road schedule is a beeeeech) probably catch a couple bad weather ganes there, likely Chicago as one.

I know. I feel terrible that all of those teams have to play us.
Always nice to get a home game to start season. (GB is basically the Lions second home now that they own that place).
I know it’s good to knock that game out early, but it seems like the division winner should get the home game

I’m of a mind we’re a better road than home team. If that makes sense. I don’t think our home field advantage is THAT huge, but man are we built well for playing outdoors.

Give me GB on the road the first game of the year every damn year. Verses playing at that shithole in Nov/Dec when it could be artic.
Sorry but those winter games are a massive home field advantage IMO. And I get it, the Lions have taken them out in cold weather there but the percentages are not in our favor.
Perfect, don’t have to play on the frozen tundra.
Hell yeah, no prime time game means good sleep for me. And FTP. Kerby +2 picks.

They killed us for years in the cold… But the Lions elite rushing attack travels well in any weather these days. Last year we whooped their asses in the rain.
Back in the day they had us beat in the cold before the game even started. Mostly cause the Lions sucked so bad.
Upside no frozen tundra
Downside first game with our new coordinators
