This is such sad news. He couldn’t have been terribly old. Such a loss. This guy was a Lions fanatic and there was nobody better on their cap situation. I mean it, this guy was a guru. RIP Deadstroke.

This hurts, first thing I seen this morning. Absolutely awful news, thoughts are with his family. May he rest easy.
He will be missed his quick insight and willing to answer and reply to anyone was amazing. He made sure he didn’t just explain the cap but we all understood it when he did.
This year sucks.

Very sad news, he will be missed greatly. Is there a Hall of Fame for the Den because he should be in it.

Ugh, this is terrible. We’ve lost a lot of good ones in the last year or two. RIP George

Can’t say anything that hasn’t already been said. Time is the one currency that we don’t know how much we have. Going to miss you Deadstroke. Most knowledgeable NFL financial guy I’ve ever crossed paths with. May you Rest in Peace and your family and loved ones have comfort as they grieve. Say hello to Bols.
@DBend144 - awesome tribute on the Obituary comments page. Touching post sir and perfectly stated.
Love you all.

Here’s a picture he posted a few years ago in that “Show Yourself” thread that was bumped recently. Pretty awesome and accurate hoodie. Cheers bud.

Wow, this is shocking. He is literally irreplaceable on this board. Best cap guy anywhere outside of actual front offices (and probably better than some of those guys!).

Sad to hear of @DeadStroke . There’s no replacing his wisdom on matters of cap. Had no idea he was younger than me (even if only a few months).
I’ve just changed the way I fan, folks. I’m too much of an asshole to talk football online, LOL.
This is the first year in 20 that I haven’t taken a swing at a 53-man projection. Have been thinking about DS, dbend and others these last few days, getting the itch to see where everyone was at. Terrible seeing this about George. If I was ever closer to the 53 than he or Netrat, it’d be an accomplishment.

Couldn’t say it any better.
It is amazing to me how connected and important each poster is, even though we never met in person. It’s a unique relationship, but very human nonetheless.
RIP @DeadStroke
