good catch… the 2023 prorated SB money ($1.975 million) would stay on the 2023 cap year.

I agree, I’ve never said he’s getting cut. I just want and expect more out of him. 1 QB hit was just not good enough last year.
Dead- what happened? Literally like 10 days ago his cap hit for this year showed 11M on sportstrac and OTC, but now it shows 7.95M…. Is there some reason that changed?

Yea, like @Phunnypharm, it’s the same as it’s always been, an $8.975M cap hit for the year.
Now the $7.95M is the dead cap hit if he’s cut, but it defaults to “If cut Pre-June1” . … well we are after June 1, so no signing bonus proration accelerates.
If he’s cut, it’s his signing bonus proration of $1,975,000 plus the guaranteed base of $4M . . . for a dead cap hit of $5,975,000 in 2022 plus $1,975,000 (SB proration) dead in 2023
