Ezekiel compared the kingdoms of Judah and Israel to two adulterous sisters. Despite all the blessing God had given them, they sold themselves to idols and were unfaithful to God. God’s people were guilt of spiritual prostitution and this the way the story was given… and don’t forget context!!
In the end of that chapter… God drops judgement on them…
Good story on relating to us, today, doing them same thing with laptop porn, drugs, alcohol, overwork, illicit sex - to hide the inner pain we have that (for me) only God can heal!!
