Sources: Teams ask if Cards will trade No. 3 pick

Gonna go ahead and guess this trade happens. If it’s not bullshit by Az (possible), then it’s almost a certainty.

Unless that team is Indy, who would be trying to ward off another suitor, then this would be ideal for Detroit.

I think it’s a real possibility, with the contract they just gave Murray…they’re married to him now & they need a lot of help.

Brad will put together some sort of 3 team trade with them & the Vikings to take the sting out of it.

Hopefully the Cards had a prenup, cause that marriage is gonna end badly.

They should have planned an exit strategy & taken a QB this year.
they’re in a nasty spot for the foreseeable future.

Awesome!

Let them trade out and have QBs go 1-4.

Then we get to see Seattle pull a Nomad Meltdown trying to figure out taking Carter or Anderson…

This is a Captain Obvious kind of story.

Every team in the NFL that is looking for a QB knows that Arizona is the next-most prime position now that Chicago traded out of 1. Of course there’s interest.

Is he still getting angry when it comes to film study suggestions?

Yea, they are stuck with him for several more years. No one is taking on that massive contract. 160 million in guarantees. He also tore his ACL last year and his previous head coach who built the offense around his strengths was fired.

It’ll be interesting to see what the new OC can do with Murray, once he gets healthy that is.

No he loves customizing playbooks in the new madden.

I guess New England should have bailed on Brady after his 4th year when his QB rating was lower than Murray’s. In fact, Brady was sub 87 rating for each of his first 4 seasons.

Murray’s contract allows them to get out after 2024 if they really want to.

Right!
…unless you don’t give 2 flying shits about winning, intangibles, leadership, etc.

Brady is one of the hardest working, serous students, most coachable guys in the history of the league.
…then there’s Murray

Brady won Super Bowl MVP in his 2nd season in the league. That aint bad. And then won the super bowl again in his 4th season and then again in his 5th season. Murray is just a bit behind him, haha

Right on. Comparing a dragon to a butterfly.

My point is that Arizona obviously sees something in Murray or they wouldn’t have given him all that money.

Risk for Detroit would be if Houston takes Anderson #2OA

The Patriots saw something in Drew Bledsoe when they gave him a $100M contract as well. That was March of 2001. In April of 2002 he was traded to the Buffalo Bills.

This is the scenario we should all be hoping for, unless you want Richardson or Levis. Team behind the Lions trades up to 3 for QB, Indy almost certainly takes the 4th QB and Carter or Anderson are right there for the Lions to take or to use as a significant trade down asset so…Lets go Arizona Trade to 7 or lower.

I’m pretty sure 2 of those teams are the Titans and us.
