Tedy Bruschi: Moron, or someone Dan should listen to?

I think he’s an idiot. And you don’t change your identity mid-season.

MCDC is 12-1. Maybe more people should coach like him. He trusts his guys to execute, and they do at a high clip

Teddy, don’t be such a dumbass, did you see the injuries on Detroit’s D line?
You do what you have to do to win, why take the chance of relying on the 3rd string D to hold them off.
12-1 speaks for itself, go shit in the corner while Dan wins the game Teddy bear.

Correct. As one of the other ESPN shows said on Friday the philosophy Thursday was for that specific game, not every game.

He’s a moron on this one.

Dan has been very calculated this year and out coached many others, in one game where he knew we needed to possess the ball he was ultra aggressive in and guess what it worked…talk about having your pulse on the team and knowing exactly what they needed to win against a good team.

Forget these stuck-in-their-ways chuckleheads and their outdated ideas. They will never understand.

Teddy points out we are the top dog now

And wants us to stop doing the things that took us from the basement to top of the world?

Nah Teddy. You’re off the mark here bud

Nah, ■■■■ you teddy. Why does everyone gotta be cookie cutter? Dan is 1 of 1. Stop trying to change him. Most didn’t believe in him and mocked him when he started now that he is winning they have to give him his due…but ■■■■ off, he got here doing it his way. Your way would have included hiring a retread and prevent defense and always taking the points and settling and playing it safe. Thats not dan, that’s not detroit or the people he speaks to. He is authentic, genuine and really really good. ■■■■ off teddy.

Agree…you can’t be a finesse team when built to grind

I mean hes not wrong, but also doesn’t realize this is how Dan is and probably always will be.

But he is wrong. Without his aggressiveness we’re not 12-1

I dont agree with everything DC does. If monty doesn’t get the 1st. I think most here would say the same things. Record is great, but one mistake in the playoffs and its over

He is wrong because he is comparing who we are to who they were (patriots)

We are not the same

I’ve heard this from several talking heads since Thursday. It’s driving me nuts. Why change the way you operate once your are on top? That’s how teams collapse.

The same segment Rex Ryan calls him the smartest coach in the NFL. And no one outprepares DC. Ryan’s son is on the staff…ill take his insight over TB who comes from the tree if “MP lay the groundwork for this lions team”

I agree with Dan more often than not. I believe in analytics and Dan follows the analytics more than most. I would have kicked the field goal on that last one. But it wasn’t crazy to go for it with how bad the defense was banged up. Although the o-line was not having a great game either, hence why I kick the FG.

I go for it 10/10 times because I want to win the game with our offense. Especially the way the roster is set up right now.

The only 4th down play that i hated was the sweep to Gibbs gave GB the ball at i think 30 yard line of ours

News flash Teddy: more teams are looking to follow Dan Campbell and the Lions playbook for success. The days of the analytic egghead coach are being phased out and the motivating, run through a wall coach is on the ascent.

I thought of this as well—can you imagine MCDC as a college coach and motivating young kids. I think he’d be a powerhouse as a college coach. After he wins 4 Super Bowls with us.

He can take that “ Patriot way “ and shove it up his ass! All ex Patriots fail else where with this mentality. Tom Brady was the reason they were successful!
