I hate to correct you but that actually changed in 1995.
I watched some of the live stream and the prosecution didn’t bring much actual evidence to the table. As a I said in other thread Terrion’s lawyer was kicking ass.
Begs the question, what are the Lions to do? Should he be allowed to practice? Should he be suspended until the legal stuff concludes? What if he really is innocent?

Based off what I saw today I doubt the Lions do anything yet. Wait to see how this plays out. The other question is what did Terrion tell Sheila, Brad and Dan? If he strikes a settlement and pleads guilty to lesser charges that could still be an issue from a Lions standpoint.
An actual trial could be several months away so who knows what will go down before then. If he does practice in training camp that will be one media circus.

Let it run through the courts. If he is not found guilty then he should play IMO. Nobody got hurt long term from what I can tell. Unless the victim has long term injuries that I’m aware of. But I absolutely would not support playing him until the legal process unfolds.
And honestly isn’t the victim better served if Arnold plays and the victim sues the bejeesus out of him in civil court?

It’s difficult because it sure feels like Terrion was involved or at least knew what was going on but they don’t have much actual evidence to prove that presented today. He also apparently drove to the house where the kidnapping and assaults occurred. So why is he there? He didn’t go in the house but he was there at 2am and he clearly knows these idiots well.
The judge did find probable cause afterall.

Perhaps he drove to the house because Hilton and company claimed they found the thieves and were retrieving his stolen property. Just being there isn’t sufficient to demonstrate he knew what Hilton and company were actually doing – and certainly not that TA was in charge.

If the prosectuion actually has evidence that he was pulling the strings via text and/or that it was being live-streamed to him, then they have a strong case. If they don’t, then they don’t. The defense is putting the string-pulling on the guy Terrion eventually showed up with, and if the prosecution can’t prove that it was actually Arnold, then Terrion’s winning the case imo

For those that believe that this will never go to trial, I must agree. One would think the ‘best’ evidence would have been trotted out today. But people do wacky things and DA’s are people too. As I stated in the other thread, I am willing to wait until the evidence is presented before I make up my mind. I will stand by that position.
What is interesting to me is the actual fact that the people who stole from him were getting beat up but somehow the people doing the beating are the bad guys in this situation. And i agree we do not want people going all vigilante but also he was the one who get ripped off.
No one died and the bad guys are the ones who got “kidnapped”.

We don’t know if the actual thieves were correctly identified. Hilton and company could have well been the original thieves, and pulled off this stunt to deflect TA from suspecting them.
