Saw yesterday they are alleging, um, $7m in fraud. It probably cost more to put on the press conference on so KP in sneakers can do the tough on crime act as just another distraction from the big shitshow on all fronts.

I’m just curious why the Terry Rozier / Damon Jones side of this story is getting almost zero mention when it’s that side of the story that actually involves NBA games. Is it just because Billups is a former Piston? Or are folks really seeing that as the bigger story?
I personally see the Rozier / Jones situation as the much bigger story as it leads into a much bigger problem for the NBA.

The way they get out of it is to claim they didn’t know it was actually rigged. Seems like a longshot though. It boggles my mind these players would put themselves at risk of criminal prosecution. None of them needed money that badly I would think…at least KG and Chauncey B-b-b-b-b-usted.
