This absolutely sucks. I joined 4ish years ago (mainly to lurk and get caught up on news) and bols was one of the first posters who caught my eye. I really appreciated his posts and his sense of humor. RIP big guy. May the perpetual light shine upon you.

Always tough losing one of our brothers or sisters here. We’re all here for the same reason. For a passion we all share. And as we get to know one another through the years(decades for many) a loss is truly like losing a friend or family member. Sending Prayers to bols family, may he RIP!

Same here fellas. I was running around doing errands yesterday and I couldn’t get it out of my head the news about Bols and I’m thinking to myself, why am I so broken up about a man that I never met, but it’s pretty easy to see why when you read through this thread and see the impact he had on our lives and reading the texts from his wife that @frm710 was gracious enough to share with us about what an amazing man he was and it’s understandable that this hit us all hard despite most of us not having met him in person. His presence, and lightheartedness, humor and overall thoughts, are going to be sorely missed. Of course he’d be telling us all to suck it up and stop being pussies about all these sad thoughts but that was a part of his charm lol

RIP bols. I have only been on here as a member for about a year, but have lurked for many. This is awful news. I could tell he was a respected member of this little family, and his words carried some weight. He will be sorely missed and I hope he can see the Lions get the Lombardi on his throne next to God.
